Returning back to school? Here are some tips for choosing the right backpack for our kids!
Look for the following features:
*Wide, padded shoulder straps
*Padded back support
*Alternative carrying methods (eg. rolling backpack).
We want to limit backpacks to 10% of bodyweight.
*Make sure straps are tightened so backpack sits higher on the spine
*Organise heavier items low and closer to the middle of the bag
*Remove unnecessary items where possible and pack light!
*Correct lifting technique, bend from the knees!
